Virtual Serial Port ActiveX Control 6.2

I work in the automation industry, and up until now have only used the VSP ActiveX for my own diagnostics and protocol busting purposes.

I am looking forward to soon releasing software that (among other things) updates old commercial irrigation systems by enabling systems control via text messages and Wireless PDA connections. I have achieved this by 'Hijacking' a serial port previously only available for use with an antiquated DTMF radio remote control system.

By configuring the old software to look for commands on a virtual port, I am easily able to send my own commands to the system, whilst also forwarding messages from the old system - all without a cable in sight. I think your software is very neat, and appreciate the quality of the engineering.
