Please specify your step-by-step actions, what exactly you do and where, so we can reproduce your actions and see where exactly the problem occurs.

- What is your mobile device model?
- What is your Mac OS version?
- Does the problem appear on the mobile device or on Mac?

Where can I find this example you're writing about?

I tried several things with changing the parameters, but it's all the same. I open the port (that works) and send the data to the printer (the printer receives something but doesn't print).

Dear Steve,

Please be informed that you should check the properties values after the COM port is opened. Serial Port ActiveX Control can't show you the Baudrate value if the COM port is closed. Please clarify what you mean exactly by "defaults"? If you do not set serial port settings, it will be opened with the parameters which were set before it was closed. Note that there are no default parameters of the COM port.

The COM ports on the standard personal computers do not have an output buffer. That is why OutBufferSize property will always return 0 (zero). This was confirmed by multiple tests and results from other users.
