“Restore Purchase” option failure in App Store

Hello,

We’ve been receiving feedback from our customers about the issues with the “Restore Purchase” option of our three applications: Elmedia Video Player, Commander One, and CloudMounter. This issue is of a great concern to us and we are already working with Apple on resolving it as soon as possible.

It occurs not only with the software designed by Eltima but also with other applications created by third-party developers that we have faced ourselves as well as were informed by some of our partners.

So far, the workaround for this situation is the following:

1. Make sure that you have bought In-App purchase for the software from Apple ID you are currently logged into. More information on how to check your purchase history in the App Store or iTunes Store can be found here:

2. Once you have verified that the In-App purchase was done from the same Apple ID, click the “Buy” button instead of the “Restore Purchase” option.

3. As In-App purchases from the same Apple ID cannot be charged twice by Apple.

    This instruction is utter nonsense! It doesn’t work! The application setup is put free of AppStore and only then inside the player has a built-in purchase. What you’re writing is bullshit!
    In AppStore there is no Pro version, this is an in-app purchase!

    I’m a patient man, if you said – Yes, we have problems with this but we are working, soon all will be OK. I would wait. But when on behalf of the developers poured into the ears of shit, it’s annoying. Clear disrespect for clients. Because you didn’t bother to figure out what the real problem was.

    Dear Sir, We are very sorry for the inconveniences caused by our software. We have contacted Apple and they’ve confirmed that there is some issue with App Store. However they haven’t provided any solution yet. To restore the purchase, you need to install Elmedia Video Player from the AppStore. After that launch the app and click “Buy now” button on the “Get PRO version” splash screen. Also you can click “Purchase PRO version” in Elmedia Video Player menu. Then please follow the guide in this article. Hope for your understanding.
