Cloudmounter issue using HTTPS(Read 3418 times)
Cloudmounter issue using HTTPS on: January 04, 2017, 05:33:44 AM
I am using MacOS Sierra and trying to connect to my WebDav Server (Synology DS412+) over https but I am having a connection problem with certificate issue.  Here is the error message "Could not connect to WebDav protocol server at this time.  Error upon connection: "The certificate for this server is invalid.  You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "domain.com" which could put your confidential information at risk."

I think this issue is due to self-signed certificated on my Synology.  Is there any way to be done on MacOS or Cloudmounter setting to accept self-signed certificate?  Appreciate your help in advance.  Thank you.

Thanks for reading my post.  Anyway, I managed to solve the issue after I use the Finder "Connect Server" using https then accept the self-signed certificate.  After that, I am able to use Cloudmounter using WebDav over HTTPS.

Thank you, this helped me out with the same issue connecting to a WebDAV server (self-signed cert) with Commander One.  I wish they would just allow the dialog that asks to accept the self-signed cert from within the product though.
