I'm a freshman here but, still, after one hour of researches, I couldn't find answer to my problem. I'm pretty sure it's a very basic problem but I can't really solve it!
I'm using Syncmate Expert 7 to hopefully sync two Macs (MBP 13 and MBA 11).
I could configure properly both the software's (IP's and folders to share) on both machines following the instructions in the guide.
When I try to sync, the operation fails immediately and I receive the message "Error - unable to create a backup". The log window is totally blank unfortunately and the same behavior happens regardless the machine I'm using.
I haven't set up any sharing on System Prefs.
The user name is the same on both machines although the machine have different names.
I couldn't find any further instruction either so I'm kindly asking anyone in the forum who for sure know the silly mistake I'm making, to suggest the solution.
