Syncmate CalDav support(Read 6937 times)
Syncmate CalDav support on: December 02, 2009, 08:11:03 PM
Hello,

I would like to know if Syncmate is able to synchronize a PDA with a CalDav configured calendar in iCal (it could be a google calendar). I was able to sync modified appointments in the calDav server to the PDA but not in the other way.

Any advice or idea of how to set up this scenario?

Thanks in advance,

     Juan

As far as I understand, you've created online Google calendar in iCal and synced it to your mobile device. Then you've made some modifications and now you want to sync to Mac and to Google. But iCal calendar is 'read only', so it can not be modified.
Please uncheck it and just add Google connection to SyncMate and sync.

Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.

Then, I need two connections: one to my PDA, other to my Google Account, and both of them sync to the same iCal calendar. Is it the setup you recommend me?

Thanks,

Just add Google connection and sync - as a results all calendars from iCal will be transferred to Google and from Google to Mac (you can select the sync direction).
After that, add your Mobile device to Connections list and sync.
