Google Calender -> syncmate -> ical caldav calendar(Read 5612 times)
Google Calender -> syncmate -> ical caldav calendar on: February 18, 2010, 04:11:44 PM
Hi,

it seems the following doesn't work:

I have my business calendars on a caldav server (Davical) and ical subscribed to them. I sync my calendars to Google with Syncmate Expert Version. So far so good everything works as expected. Now if I change smth. or add an appointment in the google calendar the changes don't get through to the caldav calendars. Local ical Calendars work fine.

Is this a design problem, either in ical or syncmate, or smth. wrong with the caldav-server? Or is it supposed not to work that way? Or (hopefully) do I or you (for the next version) just 'turn on the right knobs'.

Thanks a lot for your help,
Best regards,
Kurt

Syncing of CalDAV calendars is done with the standard iCal means even without SyncMate. If you change something in CalDAV calendar at your Gmail account these changes are supposed to appear in the corresponding CalDAV calendar in iCal automatically.

So, would you please specify what you mean by
the changes don't get through to the caldav calendars
as detailed as possible?
