Virtual serial port configuration by eltima(Read 7089 times)
Virtual serial port configuration by eltima on: April 17, 2010, 11:37:03 AM
Hello

thanks for reading this message
I'm trying to configure virtual serial port by Eltima with the following features:
- A transceiver with a serial port on COM 1 (Port real)
- A microprocessor with PIC16F877A serial port on COM 4 (port real)
- A virtual COM5 which connect the transceiver control software.
I tried to redirect between COM1 and COM4 everything runs smoothly. The the radio
connects with the PIC16F877A properly.
Now I have to install a virtual port COM5 but I can not find the right configuration (join, spitter or other).
PIC16F877 on COM4 has only three wires (RX, TX, GND).
I hope I explained myself well.
Please if anyone can help me in the right configuration.
Thanks
Jolite

Hello,

We are ready to help you. I kindly ask you to send us the scheme of your desired configuration. It can be a simple drawing in any graphic editor depicting the connections you wish to be established. We ask for this since we don't have a clear idea what your final purpose is.

Thanks in advance.
