How to connect Windows Mobile via Wi-Fi? (SyncMate 4)

Connection via wi-fi

If Windows Mobile device is connected directly to Mac:

1) On mac:  create Wi-Fi network (follow System Preferences > Network > Airport > advanced) and set, for example, the following settings for TCP\IP: 

IPV4 Adress: 10.0.0.1

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Apply

2) On the mobile device: Start > Settings > Connections > Network Cards > Configure WLAN Adapter: Use specific IP > ser IP 10.0.0.2 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 > Apply.

3) On the mobile device SyncMate driver should be installed and launched. Please go to driver settings and enable "Allow All " mode or "Only from list" mode (your Mac IP address should be added to the list)

4) Launch SyncMate and add Wi-Fi connection. Enter mobile device IP adress or Device ID in address field. To know the mobile device name please follow Start -> Settings -> System -> About -> DeviceID  

If you connect via wi-fi router:

1) For example, for Mac is in local network with the following settings:

PV4 Adress: 192.168.0.1

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

2) Your mobile device should be configured with the following settings:

PV4 Adress: 192.168.0.2

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Note: the IP address you set for Windows Mobile device or for Mac should be vacant.

3) On the mobile device SyncMate driver should be installed and launched. Please go to driver settings and enable "Allow All " mode or "Only from list" mode (your Mac IP address should be added to the list)

4) Launch SyncMate and add Wi-Fi connection. Enter mobile device IP adress or Device ID in address field. To know the mobile device name please follow Start -> Settings -> System -> About -> DeviceID
