Movie controls permit to manage files playback. Let’s overview all of them:
- Previous item/Back
Click to play a file that was played earlier. If there is only one item in the playlist, it will be played again only if “Repeat” option is on.
If you hold this button, Elmedia Player will rewind a movie.
- Play/Pause
button starts playing a file. Once the file is started, “Play” button will be changed to
button (“Pause”).
- Next item/Forward
Click button to play the next playlist item. If there is only one item in the playlist, it will be played again only if “Repeat” option is on.
If you hold this button, Elmedia Player will forward a movie.
- Volume
Drag the slider to increase/decrease the volume.
- File name
This indicator displays the name of the currently playing item.
- Progress slider and indicator
The slider illustrates the progress of the file playback.
The progress indicator displays elapsed and total time of a file playback. Progress measuring varies for different file types. For example, SWF files duration is displayed in frames, and duration of FLV files is displayed in seconds.
- Repeat
To repeat the currently playing file, select it and then click “Repeat” button twice, so that icon appears.
To repeat all the items in the playlist, click “Repeat” button once so that it becomes highlighted:
To turn off “Repeat” option, click “Repeat” button until it’s no longer highlighted:
- Shuffle
Once “Shuffle” is enabled, all playlist items (if any) will be played randomly.
- Always on top
button permits to place Elmedia Player window on top of all applications active at the moment. This option is available for PRO users only.
button permits to detach the Viewer window so that you can drag it to any place of the monitor. Close the detached window or click “Detached/Attached view” button to come back to standard mode of the Viewer window.
For FLV files – only 1:1, Screenshot and Series options are available.
For AVI, DIVX, MPEG and WMV files – 1:1, Fit, Stretch, Screenshot and Series options are available.
For SWF files – 1:1, Fit, Drag, Zoom, Screenshot and Series options are available.
For RM, RV and XAP files – only Screenshot and Series options are available.
- Fullscreen view
Press button to enter full-screen mode of Elmedia Player. This option is available for PRO users only.
- Drag
button allows you to drag the image of Flash movie. This option is available for SWF files only.
- Fit to current window
button allows resizing the file to fit the current Viewer window size. This option is unavailable for FLV files played by Adobe Player (refer to Preferences for details).
- Stretch to current window
button allows stretching the file to Viewer window edges. This option is unavailable for SWF, Silverlight, and Real video files, and for FLV files, played by Adobe Player.
- 1:1 (Restore to original size)
Use button to restore the original size of the movie. For FLV files this option is available only in detached mode of the Viewer window.
- Screenshot
Click button to take a screenshot of a movie moment.
- Series
Click button to start converting a movie into image series.
- Zoom
Use this slider to zoom in/out the movie displayed in the Viewer window. Zoom mode is available for SWF files only. Zoom option is unavailable when “Fit” option is on.
