Serial Port Monitor ActiveX Control Events Overview

Serial Port Monitor ActiveX Control provides a set of events to notify about the changes in state and data being sent/received via the port which is monitored by the ActiveX Control:

OnCTSThe CTS (clear-to-send) signal changed state
OnDCDThe RLSD (receive-line-signal-detect) signal changed state
OnDSRThe DSR (data-set-ready) signal changed state
OnDTRThe DTR (data-terminal-ready) signal changing state
OnHandFlowThe flow control change detected
OnLineControlThe line control change detected
OnOpenCloseThe port Open or Close operation detected
OnReadData is being read from the port (VARIANT analog of OnReadData)
OnRingA ring indicator was detected
OnRTSRTS (ready-to-send) signal changing state
OnWriteData is being written into port (VARIANT analog of OnWriteData)
OnWriteDataData is being written into port
OnReadDataData is being read from port
OnIrpProvides low-level access to device driver
OnTimeoutsTimeouts update on either serial port is detected
