Use the following procedure to install Serial Port Monitor:

2. Once Serial Port Monitor is successfully installed, run it either directly from the installer, or using any of the shortcuts created.
Note: After launching the downloaded serial_port_monitor.exe file you can get the following error:
It means that you are a user with limited rights, not the administrator of this PC. Make sure that you have all the required privileges in order to run Microsoft Windows Installer package on the local machine. You must be a member of Administrators group or you must have an Install Device Drivers privilege assigned to you by the administrator of the local machine to successfully install Serial Port Monitor.
