Using Serial over LAN in Server mode

Share device on a host computer (server) and access it from various remote computers (clients) to transfer serial data.
Client connection to access serial over LAN

Create a client connection in order to connect to a remotely shared device. There is no need to install Serial to Ethernet Connector on a remote computer in case the software you are using can establish outgoing TCP connections. As soon as you configured the outgoing connection and connected to the remote host, the data exchange will start.
Access Serial Port over LAN via UDP

The main advantage of using User Datagram Protocol in COM to Ethernet Connector is support for more devices and speed. Also, the data transfer via UDP does not require Serial to Ethernet Connector installation on a remote computer.
